Set in a thrilling world where law enforcement is pitted against a secret organization, the story follows James Blood, a fearless investigator around whom the entire narrative revolves. James is part of the elite ‘Live Corporation’ that is almost like a special forces group within the police structure itself.

The central motif of the series lies in the masks that provide the users with special abilities, raising the level of intensity in the narrative. The series got its title, “Hero Mask,” from these mysterious masks that the criminals use to gain superhuman abilities, making for a formidable foe for the police.

The series boasts an aesthetic appeal with a darker color palette adding to the grittiness of its crime setting, while the well-choreographed action sequences raise the thrill quotient. It explores themes of human experimentation, mortality, and power that have both physiological and psychological effects on the wearer of the mask.
